Helm bug
There is something wrong with head protection. If in my previous mods the protection was halved, in Horror mod it doesnt affect the protection rating at all. In fact even with head protection at 0 the total protection is the same as body protection.

Re: Helm bug
Would you mind posting a screenshot of the protection screen of the bugged unit? The armor's and helmet's prot values would be nice to have as well.

I used regular "Half Helmet", "Leather Cuirass" and "Plate Hauberk" for the demonstration.

Re: Helm bug
That's very strange. It seems as if the creature is totally headless! I wonder if the equipment slots affect body structure in other ways as well...

Re: Helm bug
Yup the unit doesnt have a head slot. So if I remove an item slot then the item equipped doesnt work? What about weapons without hand slots?

Re: Helm bug
I don't know, that was just a guess. Some weapons work without hands, that much I do know. They might have to be defined as #bonus, but that shouldn't matter. Hmm.

Re: Helm bug
Well, at the risk of being rude, "duh!" Sheesh - you think the helmet is going onto the unit's second head?

Re: Helm bug
Well it's a limitation, anyway. It seems it's just assuming that people without head slots don't have heads at all. So ideally there should be a way for a mod to specify the difference between a headless character and a headed one who simply can't wear a magic helmet. I also don't see a way to specify a monster with different intrinsic protection for head versus body.
