that damage isn't fire right?
It kills pretty much all my 100% fire resistant troops outright all the time.

an example is when my demons cornered a vanheim'an mage with one of those medallions on him, he took out a whole 16 devils! from one stinking amulet.

I believe the effect you speak of, i.e. the detonation of a Medallion of Vengence, is supposed to be explosive/concussion damage. Any flash/burn damage is incidental and thus not covered by your policy with the Demonic Fire Resistance Insurance Company, Ltd.
