Does Bane Fire have an MR check?
The title says it all.
Does Bane Fire check magic resistance, or does it always work? Is it stopped
by fire immunity, for that matter?

Re: Does Bane Fire have an MR check?
I just had it cast on me like a million times. I don't think any part of it has a MR check. It seems like the AoE aging part always hit everyone around it, and the damage was always dealt full bore to the units in the center of the decay effect.

Bane fire is very nasty. You need a ton of chaff to get through it.

Re: Does Bane Fire have an MR check?
Good point Jazzepi. Although I didn't have good access to nature in the recent game I played.

Undead work too. Honestly, lots of summons have huge ages.
The bane component of banefire is really only good against normal flesh and blood units.
