About the game
I've been trying Dominions 3 and seriously considering buying it. But I have some doubts, the game was released several years ago and at the same time multiplayer games seem to be active. So:
1 How hard is for a newcomer to get into the game (thinking multiplayer)? If it's mostly vets who play (don't know really) lacking those years of game experience will left me in a bad starting position
2 Is a dominions 4 expected? I've read it's not, but there is few info anyway and i don't know if dom3 is the game to get or should I wait for the next release.
Thanks in advance,

Re: About the game
Two newbie games started in the last 2 weeks. So, there are plenty of beginners still in the game, like me.

Re: About the game
People around here who seem to know seem to think that Dominions 4 isn't coming, or that if it IS coming we won't see it for a long time. The developers' newest game COE3 ( http://illwinter.com/coe3/index.html ) is coming out and they probably aren't working on another huge game at the same time. If you're interested in Dominions, definitely get Dominions 3.

Re: About the game
I was in the same situation 6 months ago and i don't regret my expense.
There is still a lot of newcomers and the community is bigger than what you can see here. I'm ready to bet that this game (his community) will be still alive in several years.
I hope to see you on the field

Re: About the game
Yeah, I like fantasy and strategy games, but most of them seem to lack something, don't know what it is. Based also on the AARs I've been reading, I see potential and options here. So buy it is, thanks for the feedback.

Re: About the game
lunaje, one other piece of advice. i couldn't get into a mp game for about 10 days. and it was a good thing. mess around with SP for a bit with a race or two before you join MP. but ultimately, you gotta play vs humans.
