Question The Correct steps for getting a player vs player pbem campaign to work

I have the cd version of spmbt. I recently tried to get a player vs player pbem campaign going but failed. All of our prefs were EXACTLY the same. Can't figure out what's causing it to NOT load when sending it to the other player. I use IZARc file compression utility. Can someone give me step by step guidance on how to do this right? I'VE READ THE MANUAL and still can't figure it out....

Are you getting any error message?

Are you using the same save slot?

What are you doing exactly.
From main game screen set prefs
Select Campaigns
On Campaigns screen select PBEM Campaign NOT the normal campaign.
If still a problem dont know without more info

If you want to practice, I am available.
Email me at

If my Spam filter rejects you respond here. I have done one start of a PBEM campaign so far and it seems to be working. We will know for sure when the second game is due to start. I'll walk you through it.

PBEM Campaign is a feature of the CD version.

Does your opponent also have the CD version of the game installed?.

If he only has the free version of the game, then obviously, he cannot access CD extended functionality...

Andy,
Thanks for pointing that out. I TOTALLY forgot that both players have to HAVE the cd version of the game to be able to do pbem campaign.....
