Curious? conquest

Hiya SE players, I am still new to the forums and game--but have been having a great time with it. I have a question--is there a mod, AI, or way to make the AI conquer planets using troops???-in all the games ive been playing so far--they only destroy planets--and recolonize them if they can. I always conquer planets with troops--saves time and expense--hehehe--just wondered why the AI doesnt..Thanks .

Many of the TDM Modpack races will capture planets. See the sticky threads at the top for links.

Watch out, though. TDM is more than just AI that will land Troops. It is AI ready to deliver a quick kick to your aft panels in ways the stock AI just can't.
