Did anyone else happen to catch that show about the French Foreign Legion on the Discovery Channel tonight? Very interesting, insightful and well done. David Drake's Slammers seem pretty much on the money; he must have done a fiver with them...

saddly, i missed the program. but to my knowledge, the only time Drake did was with the US Armored Cav in an unpopular little war in southeast Asia.
