OT: Long live the Federation
So with the Enterprise series drawing to a close, I begin to wonder about the future. What will the next Star Trek series be like?
Star Trek: The Temporal Accords
It would feature time travelling to "protect the timeline". ST:Timecop. Westerns, cave people, 1995 era low budget 'visit the present' episodes, and other reused second-hand props from Hollywood's back lot.
Alright, now I'm scared.

Re: OT: Long live the Federation
I'd like to see one based entirely in the Terran Empire, let's see how it got started and the adventures of an "evil" crew for a change instead of always love peace and happy happy joy!

Re: OT: Long live the Federation
Heck yeah, that would be great! No more of that double standard of the Prime Directive, while the crew changes yet another culture "for their own good". While pretending to have a diverse crew. Hey look, we have a token alien on the bridge. Well just half, really, not actually alien. Alien is bad. Different is bad...But diversity is good.
Screw that, just go in and assimilate them! "Join us or die." That would be refreshing politics

Re: OT: Long live the Federation
If you want to see an evil crew then it's got to be the mirror universe evil Kirk. Now that would be a truly evil empire, and probablyu great fun too

Re: OT: Long live the Federation
Krik ismuch more about... random speedchangesin his... impassioned yet stilted..... speeches.
Evil Picard, hmmm. That could be cool.
"We're being hailed."
"F*ck that! Mr. Worf open fire full torpedo spread!"
Hell if it were true mirror universe you'd have competent Riker.

What I like about that idea is that the whole show could be about fixing their screwups. Going back and fixing all of the things that Archer ran into which were supposed to be big surprises when the Federation ran into them for the "first time" in other Star Trek series.
