World Caucasus War 2020 How-To-Guide

A quick and dirty short guide to playing the Armenia v. Azerbaijan showdown in SPCAMO

Use these pregenerated Map Regions:

41 - Caucasus
44 - Caucasus
128 - Mountain
133 - Mountain City
138 - Mountain River

Because the place is pretty much 99.99% mountain, as shown by this picture of a pre-war Armenian training exercise:

102nd Military Base of the Group of Russian Forces in Transcaucasia

In 2013, the chief commander of 102nd military base Andrey Ruzinsky said in an interview that "If Azerbaijan decides to restore jurisdiction over Nagorno-Karabakh by force the [Russian] military base may join in the armed conflict in accordance with the Russian Federation’s obligations within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO)."

In November 1990, the 127th Motor-Rifle Division assigned to the base had:

I had been thinking that perhaps the game showed too many tanks as flaming wreaks but after viewing the one link provided above

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2jd...ature=emb_logo

I'm thinking maybe not

This is from an Armenian military exercise. Looks very flat, with almost no cover.

EDIT:

Camouflage for both sides:
MiG-29 (Azerbaijani) (Multi-Tone Blue)
Su-30SM (Armenian) (Multi-Tone Blue)
Su-25 (Armenian/Azerbaijani) (Green/Tan camo)

This is interesting, regarding Armenia's T-90 Fleet:

Back in 2014, they won a *single* T-90 due to their performance at the Tank Bialathon in Russia:

http://asbarez.com/126040/armenia-wi...n-competition/

Quote:
ALABINO (Itar-Tass)—Armenia won a tank at the World Tank Biathlon Championship that concluded on Saturday outside Moscow, the organizing committee reported.

Armenia was second in the newly introduced global military sporting event and was awarded a certificate for a new T-90 tank.
Then after the 2016 Nagorno–Karabakh clashes (Four Day War)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016_N...rabakh_clashes

Apparently Russia supplied 16 to 30 T-90S to Armenia after that conflict.
