Default Problem with turns

can anyone think of a reason why my computer would cause turn files to be corrupted? Two of my games have now had corrupted turn files with repeated re-sends. They are both from llamaserver, so I am working with llamabeast to try to sort them out, but if anyone can think of another possible reason and a solution, that would be great.

What operating system are you using? Are you using Version 3.l0 of Dom? Did you just upgrade to 3.10? Are you using the quickfix 'mod'?

I think you can reinstall everything and re-create the save folder for the game and put in the turn-file in and the game will 're-create' the game, is this right?

I think Dom is REALLY forgiving of re-install and copy back in save folder. I know I can copy/paste different Save_Game folders to move between my game Unit List Early/Middle/Late folders. I start a game with LA_Mictlan, LA_Pythium, ect, then save them all in a folder. I seem to be able to copy and paste back and forth without problem.

If so, you could fix the corruption, wherever it happened, by re-installing everthing, unless the mods are somehow conflicting.

Looking at when you started complaining, it seems you started a new game, and everything stopped working. Did you install a patch or mods then?

The first and easiest thing I would do is replace your Mod files.

1.Create a folder Old_Mods.
2.Copy all mods to Old_Mods.
3.Delete all files in the Mods folder
4.Re-download JUST the BAG mods, and the Quickfix mod.
5.See if BAG works now.
6.Re-download other game mods.
6.See if BAG works. If it doesn't, then we know what happened.

Further suggestions are welcome.

From what I have read, you COULD read your turn, but couldn't send it in. Next turn you couldn't even open your turn. MrSparkle could be right, your e-mail could be doing something. But you don't necessarily need to install Outlook. I'm using Firefox and a free yahoo account and things are working fine. So you could download Firefox(free) and get a free yahoo e-mail and have llamabeast switch your turns to there.

I also think you could get an extension... it is Christmas Weekend and a lot of people seem MIA.

I had a corrupted turn in an SP game. The host zipped it up instead of sending it plain, and that worked fine.
