MP Game - Cradle/Snurgle
Cradle of Dominion map is available from Illwinter's site. You'll need to download it if you don't have it already.
We'll be playing with Zen's modifications.
No house rules, but some provisos:
1. Only 1 water nation permitted (per Zen's suggestion). First water nation called will result in the other one being closed.
2. Game will be on 24 hour quickhost; please don't join if you can't keep up with that pace.
3. Victory will be 67% province victory. That's 148 out of 221.
4. Graphs off, renaming on, magic sites 55, independent strength 7. Other settings standard, unless I've forgotten something.
5. I've hosted one game successfully to completion on my machine, but the wireless router that I use craps out about once a week for reasons I am unable to figure. I generally catch this and will restart the server so no one stales, but tolerance of an odd stale turn or two is a preferred qualification for players.
7. I am located in the Eastern U.S. time zone. If we are still playing come U.S. Labor Day (first Monday in September), and my travel plans dictate, I may switch to quickhost only while I'm out of town. Again, tolerance of this sort of thing is a plus. I will try to similarly accomodate any of the other players' travel plans as well.
8. Claim your nation by posting in this thread. Game will start 24 hours after we hit 8 players, but we'll take up to 10 if they sign in before then.
I'll circulate the ip and port no. via PM on these forums.
I will be playing Marignon.

Well, I previously called it, but if you are dead set on it, I'll take C'tis, instead.

Well, I previously called it, but if you are dead set on it, I'll take C'tis, instead. Oops - I looked through, didn't see it called; sorry. It's yours. I'll think a bit (and read more closely this time ) and figure out what I'm taking.

Re: MP Game - Cradle/Kludgemush
I will be indefinitely leaving Dominions II and will not be able to complete this game. If you wish to continue this game in my absence, I will leave it running on the server, dole out my liquid assets, and go AI within a turn or two. If you wish to terminate the game, I will do so. If somebody wishes to take over hosting, as I will not be around to check on any problems, inform me immediately and I will have the game tar.gz'ed and sent to you.

I'll take over the hosting for the games Norfleet was running if no one who is already involved with the game is able/willing to handle it.

Re: MP Game - Cradle/Kludgemush
Norfleet - sorry to hear you are leaving Dom2. While I don't necessarily "like" you (I'm sure you don't care) and I don't think your spy tactics in the game against Stormbinder (which were detailed ad nauseum in a thread) were ethical....I do think that you were probably the most knowledgable, responsive, and helpful person on this board in general. Thanks for the responses, help, and for answering what probably seemed like silly questions over and over.
Anyway, I hope you decide to return to DOM2 at some point. I don't think most people bought the "Stormbinder Inquisition" thing...it seemed like you were being unecessarily hassled most of the time.
Cheers,
John

Re: MP Game - Cradle/Kludgemush
I am sorry JJ_Colorado.
I didn't relize that a lot of people haven't seen that thread. Norfleet have been officialy busted for his blatant cheating in our MP, and Illwinter themself confirmed it. He had 4800 gems worth of stuff on turn 23 as Ermor in our game, while haveing no gem income whatsoever. We have send all files to Illwinter and they are working on it right now.
Read the thread I've posted for more details.
And don't worry about appology to me after you done, I understand why you may feel this way if you haven't read the today's tread that I just posted link to. I should include it in my original message. I guess I was tooinvolved in it and assumed that by now everybody have already seen it. My own mistake.
Regards,
Stormbinder
