Default Can Blindness be cured on a hero??

I am playing with Man and have a hero that is blind.

Blindness can be cured by faeries, etc on troops. What about on a hero?

It can be cured by a unit that can heal other units like a faery. Also the global "gift of health" as well as the item "the chalice" at construction level 8 can heal that hero.

Healers heal commanders as well as units. They just have to be in the same province.

Default Yes, but...

Yes, you can cure the blindness that Branwen the Blind starts with.

The 'but' is that... but, she's old, so when she gets diseased and more afflictions from that, the 'heal troops' ability won't work to cure that. GoH / Chalice will.

I've used master lich for r'yleh several times and never seen him go insane. My best guess is that his immortality may actually get rid of the insanity, if he contracts it, during the turn resolution.

I know that I ran a test with C'Tis's miasma and had an immortal lich there. He never, got diseased even after a hundred or so turns, whereas a regular undead pretender such as ghost king did.
