Default Repeated CTD

Hey,Great game from what I've seen so far but I have a problem.I get about 3 turns in or so then the game just quits. With no error message or anything. From what I've heard it's possible that this is a sound problem. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Hmm played around,Seems the bug has to do with too many sounds being played at once.Any way to set a limit?

Are you by chance using a SB live! soundcard?

Those are especially prone to this problem, but other SB are as well, depending on driver versions. They behave especially bad when they should play different sound formats at once ... At least, from what I have seen / experienced.

Try updating your driver ... or turn off the background sound ("battle fx" in the preferences), maybe that helps already.

Turned off BattleFX and got a bit farther into the game then usual,But it crapped out after my Hind-D fired a couple times.

Is there a way to get the exact model of my card? Because I dont see any drivers on the Creative Labs website that seem to address this card.

Also - turn off the interface mouse click sound as well, on the misc tab of the game options programme. That may help.
