Ok, so, I've been on travel for a few months now, and I found myself with a lot of time on a good internet connection today...after checking on the SE4 forum (the only forum I ever go to), I found myself, for various reasons, at...UltraCorps...and it seems like, well, SE4 enthusiasts would be very interested in it...
So...any of you out there familiar with or involved with Ultracorps? It really seems like online Space Empires...check these out:

And here's one of the blurbs: "attempts to recreate the grand scale of classic space opera games like Master of Orion or Reach for the Stars while incorporating the added complexities of a massively multiplayer gaming environment in which literally thousands of other players compete for the same real estate. By and large, it succeeds at its lofty goals. . . . UltraCorps is designed for hard-core gamers who are more interested in substance than style. Its lack of cutting edge visuals and sound, its turn-based format, and its emphasis on diplomacy and economics rather than non-stop action clearly target an audience that has lately been feeling rather neglected. Players who fit its profile will find the game an addictive and rewarding experience."
So...anyone out there involved in this? I fully intend to check it out in greater detail in a few months, when I am back home, and would be interested to see if y'all were also involved, and playing, etc...
thanks,
AMF
