Kampfgruppe Schimmelmann assaults the village of Cherkasskoye held by elements of the Soviet 67th Guards Rifle Division on the first day of the Kursk offensive. 5 July,1943.

Based on ASL Deluxe scenario 7

Played it through!

Good map, good scenario!

Made slow progress at first due to the dug in Russkies being hard to shift, but on turn 13 thier counterattack started making them somewhat easier to deal with. I advanced with the PzGren Kp on the right and the Infanterie Kp on the left, most StuGs in the centre...

The Sturmpionier platoon took plenty of losses and two Flammpanzer were knocked out by hidden AT guns.

Game ended on turn 29, when the last VH fell into my hands.
German losses: 70 men, 2 AFVs.
Russian losses: 358 men, 6 AT guns, 3 bunkers.

I also played this one.
Ecxellent beginner scenario for urban fighting,

A couple GE Hvy Mg's had no mg's only rifles and HG's,but not a problem.

Don't have a save,but i lost 3 flamen pz's and 3 stug's,very little infranty surprisely.

hmm..., I spotted no error with the MG team's weapons.
Have you perhaps edited your German OOB?

I went back and checked the starting forces,didn't see any problem either.
They must got shot up during the progress of the game.
I had played through in one sitting maybe took a couple+ hours late at night,so i was wrong,sorry
