Default Is this game worth to buy? Hum.

I think no. I just tried the demo. Weird game.

1. The graphics is horrible, but it is ok, since I prefer gameplay.

2. Sounds are very bad.
3. The gameplay is cool, lot of units and spells.
4. The AI is very bad.
5. I am mostly playing alone, thus I won't buy the game. The AI offers no challenge.

I will visit the forum and the site of the game, maybe they can upgrade the AI, so it will be fun to play against the computer too.

Regards,
Shir

I agree. If you prefer SP, than it is pointless to order Dominions 2. now.
It is way to easy to kick the back side of the AI.

Too soon I think to make predictions but so far Dom2 seems to be providing proof for alot of the discussions in the newsgroup about Dom 1. There were alot of discussions that trying to improve some of the "user got to have" stuff would still fall short of those kinds of Users so keep to improvements along the line of things they did really well to hold the niche they had.

The thing that worries me the most is that alot of the things we used to balance the arguments with, the "yeah but" items were also changed with Dom2 (demo, price, maybe support) but as I say its too early yet to see if the pros and cons will balance out in their favor.

I am having a serious problem understanding how people can judge the AI from one days worth of play. What made it "so easy", was this based on one battle. Playing the full game, I know many of our testers found the AI quite a challenge, I am wondering if you have played the game long enough to see wht the AI will do in different situatins.

I actually believe we are being trolled by this SK.

Which sane person would register in a forum of a game he doesn't intend to buy, only to say so? Why bother? This is just a person with issues, maybe a new incarnation of a previous troll.

I encourage these 3-4 posters who seem unable to articulate anything more complex that "the AI sux" and who have reached so firm conclussions after just a few hours of gameplay (if even that)to ellaborate on the issue and actually say
1.- why
2.- how they beat it &
3.- which is their paradigm of a good AI for a game of this type.
