The long-awaited PC strategy game "Master of Orion III" will not be appearing on store shelves February 25. Citing yesterday's loss of the Space Shuttle Columbia, MOO3 project leader Constantine Hantzopoulos said it would be "inappropriate... to release a game basically centering around blowing up spaceships... so soon after this tragedy." He stated that "we will now retool the game so that... it no longer involves exploding spaceships." Sources are unclear on what form this retooling might take, but information has leaked that it might involve purple dinosaurs facing polka dotted panda bears in a hugging match to control the galaxy. This, my friends, is a disaster for gamers everywhere...
