Assault Boats

Playing as Egypt in Crossing the Suez. My commandos change to assault boats at the canal. The assault boats appear to have a strange turret icon from an AFV.
Normal?
CD version, 2.51, stock.

assault boats should not have any turret icon whatsoever.

Probably the desert icon used in the egyptian OOB for assault boat is borked? (it has separate ones for green, desert and winter terrains. The UK one uses 229 for all 3 map types and is definately OK, pr at least last time I used one

).

I loaded a save and the turrets are gone. Then as the commandos created new boats some had tiny turrets, some did not. After the AI turn, those turrets were gone.
Space bar info window has the boat with 0 armour and a small boat as turret with 0 armour.
I believe this is a legacy scenario and may not be liking the Windows conversion.
It is playable and challenging so no need to spend a lot of time finding the glitch.
Edit to remove some ignorance with the game. Sorry.

I deleted all of my save game files and started over. This was the Thunder in the Sinai, AIW campaign.
A few boats have crossed the canal and I haven't seen any turrets. I think I may have saved the turn before the last patch or two.
Consider it a non-issue now.
