\"x\" Overloading weapons
I just wanted to confirm as it's been a long time since I've played SE IV regularly and I haven't yet used them in SE V.
Do the Overloading weaponry such as Engine overloading weapons bypass shields and armor to damage engines? weapons bypass to damage weapons, etc.

Re: \"x\" Overloading weapons
In SE:V, they are currently setup to only have an effect if the shields and armor are down.

Re: \"x\" Overloading weapons
Thanks for the reply. That pretty much confirms that they are absolutely worthless.

Re: \"x\" Overloading weapons
I'm pretty sure that can be modded by changing the damagetypes.txt file though.

Re: \"x\" Overloading weapons
No, they can't. Special types of damage override the damage percentages, so even if you give the weapon 100% piercing for all shield/armor types, it won't pierce.

Re: \"x\" Overloading weapons
It was more asked for the specific multiplayer instance I'm in, but I'll keep it in mind for future modding.

Did you try
Cannot Penetrate Any Kind Of Shields := FALSE
Cannot Penetrate Any Kind Of Armor := FALSE
?
