Default Cooperation Game

New game on PBW

Observing in some other games I've noticed that a lot of people don't know how to optimize an alliance. So I'm creating a game that'll give everyone the opportunity to learn. Each team will be two players. You'll start with three planets each and there will be overlap so you'll get first contact with your teammate on turn one. I'll have someone from outside the game make the map. Alliances with other teams will be restricted to T&R treaties. You are encouraged to find your own partner and to work together on empire set-up. Any other issues will be handled in the game forum.

Other game settings: No intel

I love these types of games. Too bad I'm a bit busy right now.

Certainly reminds me of "Duplicity 2" a while back on PBW. Loads of fun, and I learned a tremendous amount.

I am disappointed that you are not enabling intel. Many players are not incredibly thrilled with the intel model, but it is a part of the game and a serious component when dealing with teams and players.

In fact, in Duplicity 2, it was through the use of intel that the most dangerous (and #1 ranked)religious player was toppled.

Well Stone Mill, I'm the kind of host that looks at the settings as flexible until the game starts. If enough players want intel then I'll enable it. I'm just trying to set up a fun game for everyone.
