God How I Hate Day Light

I have come to one inescapable truth about myself; I absolutely and utterly despise daylight. I hate days because they are filled with chaos, noise, phone calls, interruptions, its bright, and generally not at all calm. I do like the evening hours, but that is the exception to the rule.

I love nighttime because it so quiet, peaceful, calming. No chaos, no hassles, no phone calls, just soothing silence with the occasional catfight.

Tis morning now, even though it is a weekend, I still cannot help but feel overwhelmed with anxiety about it becoming light out side.

To many years working graveyard I guess.

I prefer say the evening hours of 16:00 to 20:00 in the summer, when the heat is turned off and the sun slowly sets but there is still enough light outside.

night also has its charms I like the quiet of the night too... I usually achieve it during the day by telling everyone to get the hell out and then plugging up my ears

I love it all ! Then again, I'm an old fart who can see that time DOES come to an end.

But, both have their benefits. Having said that, it IS nice at night when the kids are in bed and the time belongs to me and my wife.

Is it a problem? Perhaps so. But Alaska is far to cold and there are no sand dunes.
