Re: (OT) transfering non-standard amiga disks.
i've got the cloanta cheap file transfer thing and an amiga, the only problem is it uses the standard workbench file reading thing and that can't read non-standard disks, so i can't transfer any of my psygnosis stuff. i could find it on the internet, maybe, but i'm not to sure i want to wander outside the legal downloads area, even if i already own the game.

Re: (OT) transfering non-standard amiga disks.
What model of Amiga is it? If it's one of the later ones (1200, 4000, I think also 600) it has the facility to read/write pc floppies (albeit 720k-formatted ones) built into workbench. Even it's an old a500 you could probably get the software for to do so. The reason PCs can't read/write amiga floppies is that the amiga used more advanced floppy hardware.
Failing that, you can get software for serial/serial or parallel/ parallel transfer. It's slow but reliable, I used to do it all the time. The cables are really cheap (especially if you make them yourself).
You could also get your amiga onto a standard ethernet network if you happen to have the right hardware.
Check out aminet: http://ftp.uni-paderborn.de/aminet/change.html - you'll find about a zillion freeware ami<->PC solutions.

Re: (OT) transfering non-standard amiga disks.
Oh I see what you mean. Have a look at that aminet link I pointed to below. There will almost certainly be a utility somewhere to get all the data into amiga-os. I'll have a sniff around as well.
EDIT:
Hmmm.... I don't see anything useful in there, but to be honest I'm not entirely sure how the utility you're looking for would be described. The utility you want is probably right under our noses but not immediately visibe.
What you really need is a forum of dedicated ami-heads to help you out. There must be one somewhere.
