I've really, really been slipping as far as SEIV work, especially regarding stuff I've promised to some folks here. All I can say is I'm sorry, and that doggedly persistent RL issues (work and personal) have distracted me.

Status reports...

HMShakedown PBW game - keeps stalling out, persistent game file issues with one of the players.

A House Divided PBW game - set-up is taking WAY longer than I anticipated

1.6 Highliner Mod - oh, heck, who knows when I'll have time?

Thanks, guys. Your support means a lot.

I think I will idle back my SEIV involvement for awhile, until things stabilize on the homefront. Besides, this will allow me to start into SEV with a fresh attitude.

I'll still be lurking here though, so don't go talking smack about me while I'm "gone".

My apologies to the House Divided guys, I promise I will keep plugging away at the setup and see if I can finish it while I'm in lurk mode.

I'll send an e-mail to the Shakedown players and see if anyone wants to take over management of the game.

I'll finish out my current PBW games as well.

Well, see you later on once you fully get back into the flow of SE then.

As for the House Divided: I would have volunteered to finish the setup, but I am a player in this game, so (I don't even have the Ancient trait, so I would gain knowledge of parts of the map). Perhaps someone could take care of it? Or I might take over your own Empire in this game, removing my own Empire from the game.

That is, if you do not feel like finishing this setup (playing some turns as six different Empires must become boring quite quickly). I do not want to give the impression I am trying to "steal" the game setup from your hands.
