OT: Is this webcomic an indication of normal behaviour?
I came across thie webcomic. I find it confusing. I only post on 2 forums, and much more on this one. Is what this comic says true?. It doesn't sound like anyone who visits this forum. I think the reason might be that we might encounter anyone else on the forum in a game and we don't want them to harbour a grudge

For some forums it is. Try going to a forum for any popular first-person shooter type game. They are typically overrun with twerps shouting immature 'opinions'.
Fortunately we are more civilized here being that SEIV is a turn-based 'thinking-persons' game.
Just don't mention the movie Starship Troopers...

Re: OT: Is this webcomic an indication of normal behaviour?
I tell ya Randallw, it really does depend on the forumn. Here, I'd never fail to read every responce before posting. On Fark (I use the same handle), if I can't read the hundred's of responces, I just don't post. Yet, over on /., I used to get the REDUNDANT beatdown, don't know waht was the matter with me whever I was there. Something about that forum made me want to post without reading every single post first, kinda wierd that.

Re: OT: Is this webcomic an indication of normal behaviour?
I've seen only a few forums like that, i guess i'm just a good judge of forum character.
The quote here just made me laugh on a letter by the author.
"Are you saying I'll be able to dodge softballs?"
"No Neo, I'm saying that when the time comes ... you won't have to."
I think this brings a new light to the Matrix Trilogy, makes them much more enjoybale to watch when Agent smith appears with softballs instead of a pistol.
