OT: Flash Gordon
Do any of you remember the late 70's early 80's Flash Gordon tv series? The cartoon one. For some reason I recalled it just now in a dream and I had completely forgotten about it. I wonder if it is on VHS or DVD any where. I have looked but I have not found it. The New Adventures of Flash Gordon was the title, and I found a listing and synapsis of the series. I recall that it seemed like it was never finsihed, and now I know why; it wasn't.

Ah yes, I remember that cartoon. They got around the violence by having everyone using disintegrators. Anytime a Hawkman or ship was hit it just glowed for a few seconds and then dissapeared. A few years later they had every cartoon character the publishers had together. So Flash Gordon, The Phantom and Mandrake were all working together to stop Ming.

Re: OT: Flash Gordon
I vaguely remember watching a few episodes, but don't recall if it was in the 80's or not. I know that when I was in the Air Force in the mid-80's, my wife and I would still watch Saturday morning cartoons (we led a really exciting life back then), but I don't recall if that was one of the ones we watched. I mostly remember watching the Smurfs, the Ewoks and the WWF cartoons. If it happened while I was in Korea in 87-88, then maybe that's why I only saw an episode or 2. After I got back from the ROK, I may have watched some Sat. morning shows, but don't think I watched them as much as before. The other animated show I'd like info on is the Planet of the Apes cartoon. Again, I don't recall when it came out, but it looked pretty good for the times. Anyone have any info on that cartoon?
