I hope they are coming in a patch

Hi im matt2000 i just recieved my copy of SE4 but I am rather dissapointed at the fact that about 40% of the promised game is missing.

But as long as I see them in a patch soon i'll be happy

I know how much of a rush you game developers are to get stuff done on time and thanx for getting it out

but here's the stuff that was missing in my game:

1) There were supposed to be over 500 components included: There are currently 263 in my game.

2) There was supposed to be a "Drone" class ship included in the game but it wasn't in my game

So im wondering when the patch will be coming out.

I'm not sure why Shrapnel's SE4 section says "500+ components, and 300+ facilities" since Malfador's SE4 section says "500+ components and facilities." Anyway, doing a find operation in Components.txt finds 458. A similar check of Facility.txt finds 122, for a total of 580 (so at least Malfador's promise was met).

Oddly, it's the other way for drones. Shrapnel's section doesn't mention them, but Malfador's does.

Are you counting Crystal, Organic, Religious, Physic, and all the other speacial ability componets?

That's probably why matt2000 came up with a lower total. All special components seem to be in the Components.txt file and are included in my total.

Good news. Of course, you can always add more of your own if there's not enough variety (hard to believe!), or simplify things if you don't like so many choices. This is the way strategy/4X games should be.

Just about to post a big long message, then decided to check my /pictures directory.

apparently although there are only 272 picutres in there, only 102 of them are accessable in my game...?

For some reason they do not show up when i go to build ship/planet...etc.

???
