Black Screen
I just received the full game today. It will install fine. I get the start screen, but when I click to start a new game the screen goes black.
I am using XP and have tried all compatability modes and I have tried all the video options available in the game including "safe mode". Still no go.
I have a 2.0GHz Dell with 512RAM, a 64MB GeForce 4 video card. I also have DirectX 9 installed.
Any help would be appreciated.

Nevermind...hehe. It seems to have been a problem while the game was switching resolutions. I keep my computer at 800x600. When I changed it to 1024x768 it started fine. I hope this will be addressed in a patch!

I have the same problem.Try this dukane,when you see the black screen hit ctrl,alt,and delete and the end task screen will come up but don't end task just bring up the game from the tool bar.This works for me hope it does for you
