randomly generated scenarios, yes it is possible
An idea to get rapidly some randomized situations for solo play. The trick would be that IW allows an AI to be switched to human control. It would also asks that a game continue even if all human players are defeated.
With these tweaks, one could generate 20, 30, 40 turns of a map, with full AI control, then take the seat of any nation, and enjoy an empire which could be on the winning side, or more interesting, an empire which asks for a wise ruler - YES YOU - so that it can survives the onslaught of his enemies!

I would love to do that. I know a human player can be set to AI control. Didnt know it worked in reverse. Or is this something you are requesting?

It was a request Gandalf. A rather fun one. Imagine an MP game under these conditions . Some players defeated or crippled befor they even start. Incredibly unfair (and fun).

Okay, that's just plain a kewl idea! Nice way to start learning a new nation too, you already have a bunch of the national units to fool around with from the get go.

Re: randomly generated scenarios, yes it is possible
Kristoffer, I dont think it would be that hard to switch the AI flag & add a menu to do so, and it would add tremendous solo play opportunities.
Can you consider adding the feature?

I would LOVE to see this feature for single player games. Set an X turn 'autostart'.
