Grrr -- my Pan screwed everything up

What I really like about Pangaia is that almost all of the troops and all of the commanders are stealthy. I love subtelty. But is there a way to turn the Pan's Manead-love OFF? As soon as I forget and take a Pan with me on a stealthy mission, sooner or later a Manead pops up and the AI thinks I want to attack the nation (perhaps one could turn that off in the AI??).

You could pick a Pangaea theme where the Pans loose their Maenad love. New Age Pangaea loses this ability. Other than that, you're stuck with it, even when it happens at very inconvenient and annoying times. Get used to it: Women are always attracted to men at the most inconvenient and annoying times. You'll think it's great until it happens to you. Trust me.

I always considered that to be a useful feature of the Pan. All he has to do is walk thru an area while stealthy, and every turn his little maenads will try to take the province after he is already moved on. Sure they dont win unless there are no commanders in that province but it can be used well. It can wreak havok against an AI (or player) that doesnt use defense points. And it saves alot of steps in the assassinate/assassinate/assassinate/TryToCapture routine since they will probe each turn.
