Ok i give up
So i made a new world map orannia style. The TGA is done but when i try to load it into the map editor it simply hangs.
If i put the white dots in only 10 or 15 countries it loads but with larger numbers no success. Any hint?

I believe Targa ran into an error like this. Do a search on Targa or something similiar. It was either in the Bug, or "Make a new map" thread that had some issue with the placement of the icons.

Re: Ok i give up
Are you using the latest patch? J.K. told me he had found the bug, so I assumed it would be fixed with the Last patch. If not, just load any of the .map files that you have in a text editor, change the .tga tag to the name of your new map (and maybe delete all the extraneous information), then save it under a new name as a .map file. Then load that map file into Dom's editor.

Re: Ok i give up
Thanks that worked and yes i'm using the latest patch. Should've asked earlier, spent several hours trying to figure it out.

Re: Ok i give up
I used Photoshop 5.5 for everything except the water, which I made in Bryce 4.0.
