Stupid questions about healing afflictions.
With all the time I spend on this board, you'd think I'd know this stuff already...
1. How does the heal order (arco priestess, faerie queen) work EXACTLY?
I have a healing unit in one of my provs and I've been slowly ferrying all my afflicted troops there, but my leaders seem to be highly resistant to being cured (10+ turns)
Does Heal only work on a certain number of units per instance or is it probablistic?
(i.e. are my fodder taking heals that could go to my Feebleminded magi, or is it efficient to pack them in the clinic)
2. Does item regeneration perversely reduce one's chance of LOSING an affliction once one has it?
Thanks for all replies,
Rabe the Convalescent

Re: Stupid questions about healing afflictions.
Well, I'm no expert, but I know my units with regeneration have healed afflictions on their own from time to time. I have no idea what the formula is for this.
Also, Gift of Health works wonders for healing afflictions.

Re: Stupid questions about healing afflictions.
Afaik, its 10% per turn per affliction, except that the chance of healing a "never" healing wound is only 5%. I don't believe it matters how many troops with afflictions are in the province. So while the process is magical, its not a magic cure
Units with regeneration do not heal afflictions, though they have a lower chance of getting them in the first place (sorry, no exact number). Units with recuperation do heal afflictions, probably at the same rate as above.
Having regeneration should have no affect on healing rate.

Re: Stupid questions about healing afflictions.
Thanks Zen,
Here's a much easier stupid question for you.
Can hiding commanders in the same prov as a battle, but not in the battle itself, pick up magic items dropped by the aligned, or even enemy, deceased?
Thanks,
Rabe

Re: Stupid questions about healing afflictions.
I'm pretty sure I had a hidden scout nab the Green Eye once after a battle, the little fink.
