flaw with CW theme of Pan?
i was trying out the new idea of high growth making more manikins in 2.11 patch, and i noticed that the population dies quickly. so i make a test game and found out by turn 20, your capital has lost alittle more then half its starting population (even though i had the growth scale +3). are you supposed to loose population with this theme?
thanks

Re: flaw with CW theme of Pan?
Yes. CW Pan is a killer dominion theme where you will quickly have 0 population. In theory, they've made the Growth no longer totally useless by having it create more auto-manikins, but previously, and perhaps now, Growth is simply useless as it will not increase your population growth and you do not need supplies....making the theme very expensive, since it's functionally equivalent to death, but you can't get points for taking death.

Re: flaw with CW theme of Pan?
Well what you get instead of population in manikins and mandragoras and stuff... do they continue to grow even after the population are all dead?
I tried it just very briefly, and noticed that it seemed like I still needed Growth +2 - didn't the patch notes say the requirement was reduced to Growth +1?

The idea of the theme is that all of the provinces human population is being moved out as the lands are being returned to nature.

Re: flaw with CW theme of Pan?
The theme has the big advantage that it is not as feared as Ermor.
Both Nations have empty provinces that nobody really wants. Most players attack Ermor anyway, because they know the will lose if Ermor gets enough time to develope. Thats not the case with CW. They wont attack your provinces for money, and the wont attack you out of fear.
