AST Mod problem

This is regarding the Atrocities Star Trek Mod. I recently downloaded the AST mod and installed it in my Space Empires IV directory. I've changed to path and it starts loading, but stops with the following error message:

My SEIV Version is 1.78 Gold. I made sure I installed the new pictures for Planets, Components and Facilities. I made sure I put them in the right folders and saved them as .bmp.

Anything I'm doing wrong?

You need to be running Version 1.91 to get rid of those errors. There's a patch somewhere on this site.

I've tried using patch4.exe It says it is the incorrect Version and I need v 1.60 or some such.

Just re-install from your Gold disc, and apply the patch over it. There's some issues with incorrect .exe timestamps that cause the patch to fail sometimes with other Versions.
