Want to hear something REALLY funny??
I have been spending most of my time creating new solar systems and quadrants that more closely approximate the milky way, and our own Sol system.
Well, in all my "test" games with these systems, I have NEVER won!
HAHAHEHE!!!! Pretty amazing huh?! I'm not stupid, just apparently in this game.

Really?
That sounds like a cool idea, sort of like the Earth maps in Civ2, (Go, Zulus!)
Where did you find an editor to do this with?
How did you choose to model the Alpha Centauri/Proxima Centauri system?

Just using a text editor and manually editing files. I like Ultra-edit. THat is a real helper for text editing large files.

I know what your problem is JP!
Next time you start a game,
put a few more racial points in Intelligence, and a few less in Construction Aptitude!
Hahaha ... :P
Keep well!

Actually, what are the most important things to research in the beginning.
