Multi-Player Mini Scenario - Any interest?
I got this idea from something done over at the SPWAW Depot a while back.
I am thinking of creating a very small scenario that would have a team of players for 1 side and a single player (maybe more) to play the OPFOR. My intial plan would be Korea with a multinational company (3 players) defending against a massed Chinese (1 player) attack. Map would be 60x60 or so. Maybe 12 turns max. With turnaround times of one day per player this would make it a 30-45 real day battle depending on how fast everyone can get their turn played and then forwarded on.
To reiterate the importanace, this game would require everyone to play and forward thir turns fairly quick or it will bog down and kill the whole project.
So at minimum it would require 4 players total. What say you?

This should be great,
My only concern is that I will have to make 2-3 short trips in the month of July and I don't know if this will delay the other players.
As soon as I know my program I will contact you.
cheers,
Pyros

Hey I was doing some research and found Greek troops assigned to the 7th Cavalry of the US 1 Cav Div in Dec 1950! I think there were Brits, Canucks and Aussies assigned to 1st Cav also. Hmmm.....

I have a volunteer for the Aussies.
Would you like the US, Greek or Chinese forces?

I haven't tried it with the new version BUT it was no problem in 3.01. It was still secure in that version but depending on the new security features it may not be possible now. I guess we will see.
Anyway, what I will need is 3 UN Players and 1 (maybe 2) Chinese players. Then we can start.

Before you guys run off, let me clarify. As a player you would probably only play 1 turn every 3-4 days. The one day turnaround time would be you getting the turn out of your mailbox within 1 day after you receive it and on to the next player, not a turn for YOU every 24 hours.

I think this thread should be moved into the "opponents wanted" sub forum - as it is not really support related,
it's a request for a bunch of folk toplay several battles .
If there are no objections to that - I'll shift the thread there shortly.
Cheers
Andy
