Dome of Flaming Death

Anyone know how powerful this is? In other words, will it just kill a 10hp mage or something bigger?

I have a foggy memory that it will kill anything that isn't fire resistant/immune.

Definitely false. No idea how much damage it does, but absolutely certain non-immune units can survive. The spell description mentions "a powerful blast of fire". I suppose this could be interpreted to mean that the dome triggers a Fire Blast(Base damage 14 AP at F2, presumably +2 or +3 per additional fire level). If this is so, a blast it may be, but powerful it ain't, though it should take out 0 FR humanoids with ease.

Agreed - I've had a number of non-resistant mages survive casting into a fire dome. Sometimes they pick up an affliction, sometimes they don't. And I agree that most human (~10 HP) mages would tend to bite the bullet, but Pans, R'lyans, etc, are a different matter.
