FLASH! A-Aaaaaaaaaaa!
Just a quick note to the other space cadets out there that a new shipset based on the classic Flash Gordon serials (peppered with images from the 1980's movie) has been posted in the mods section. There is also a second Version of the same shipset posted with Buster Crabbe replaced by Ming the Merciless for the race portrait, just for those other evil Emperors out there.

Oh yeah baby! Shipset lookin good. Thanks for the continuing resurrection of the good old shows! (as I said b4, the space 1999 shipset rocks!). What we need next is Buck Rogers!

Thanks for the great new shipset!
BTY, Lion of High Park have you voted for the Civil War idea yet in the vote thread?
Thanks for your time.

Re: FLASH! A-Aaaaaaaaaaa!
Hey, thanks for the positive feedback! BTW, the shipsets for FG and MtM were missing the fleet and fightergroup portraits and minis. I've thrown those up in the mods directory as well.
I did have a look for Buck Rogers ship images Online, but they were even harder to track down than the Flash Gordon ships (meaning I haven't found any decent BR picks period. Oh well.)

Re: FLASH! A-Aaaaaaaaaaa!
Threw my 0.02$ up on the board about the civil war idea (like it, with fond memories of Civ).
Deathstalker: I guess all these shipsets from old tv shows just goes to show how much time I spent glued to the tube as a young'un. I'm glad you like the Space 1999 shipset (it's my current fave as well). I have fond memories of that show, cheesy as it was. I have always thought that the eagles were just about the best designed SF ships out there.

Re: FLASH! A-Aaaaaaaaaaa!
Very cool. Flash Gordon is one of my favorite movies, so I would have prefered the Ming & Flash from the movie, but this is still cool.
