Underwater provinces & heat/cold
Do the temperature scales now effect the deeps? I think I saw a mention of "Sever Cold" increasing the encumberance in my Dagon when he was in a +3 Cold province in the sea.

Yes, for all aspects except gold production IIRC (gold does not depend on temperature under the seas), like in Dom2 by the way.

Re: Underwater provinces & heat/cold
I see then. Does Cold/Fire resistance affect how much extra fatigue you rack up in cold? I think it does.

Interesting. That means underwater races could experiment with very bad tempreture setting to get good bless/whatever, without suffering money problem. extra fatigue/lack of supplies is not such a big deal IMHO, since it applies to both you and your enemies.

Re: Underwater provinces & heat/cold
They have allways been able to take temperature with little concern, but untill now have had little in the way of blessable troops. Mother Guard were ok, but rather expensive for their power. At least in early era however, their are blessable troop (Living Pillars come to mind) but unfortunatly very littlein the way of good solid blessing pretenders. A real pity. We need more aquatic/amphibious pretenders.

Indeed - Giant Clam pretenders, and pretenders laying in giant clams (Venus on the Half Shell), and oh! More seriously, a shark pretender, and a whale - actually a couple of whales, one Orca-ish, and one Sperm Whale-ish. Perhaps a new immobile Coral Reef, and mmm, a divine Iceberg.
And an Oil Tanker.
Definately would be nice to have a few more pretenders for them - that's where aquatic nations kind of get the boot, albeit it's perhaps a fair trade for their easily defensible domains.
