				 Cursed Province
I had 2 scouts go diseased in a province.
Well I moved a army through to capture it and get to a battle. In out no stay time.

Two of the commanders of the army became diseased. Good ones at that. I have not bothered to look at the troops. I figure high loses are coming.

I see nothing in the province. I don't want to send in a mage to search since I figure he will become diseased.

 So what is it?

				 Re: Cursed Province
There are sites that cause disease. I forget if you use blood or death magic to find it. If you want to play it safe, research the augery spells and check it from a distance

				 Re: Cursed Province
The most common disease site is Inkpot End. That one is always visible, even before searches. Other ones might not be visible, but will still disease troops. There are also sites that horror mark, increase unrest, etc. |

				 Re: Cursed Province
Other diseasing sites (these from D2 so likely not complete):Crown of Darkness (D4)-- also gives 3 D-gems, 40% THAU bonus. If you have some high-end undead mages and want to do some safe cheap thaumaturg'ing, this is the right spot for it...
 Leper Fens (D1)- gives 2D
 Chillsick Swamp (D1)-- gives D,N,W

				 Re: Cursed Province
If multiple diseasing magic sites exist within the same province does this increase the chances of units/commanders becoming diseased ?

I estimate only the developers would know the answer, but maybe someone will surprise us with a solid answer.
