Freak Lord

Has anyone used successfully, or at least ever enjoyed using, even in single player, the Freak Lord? I can't seem to make myself pick that fellow, he seems to be more a liability, and moreover, i find it hard to fit him into existing mythologies. He might go well with this new Lanka nation...

The freak lord is a powerful pretender, at least was in dominions 2. Ask QM for a build.

He has trample, decent stats(well human but 17 base defence), fear and 10 cost paths so, with some buffs(misform, ethereal, luck, fireshield, quickness, mirror image, regen, prot buffs, reinvig, resistances ect are all cheaply avaliable to him) and of course you always could simply use him as a 3 mapmove site searcher

I think the Freak Lord's place in Dom3 mythology is connected to the spells Crossbreeding and Improved Crossbreeding. That's my take on it.

He could do with a graphical upgrade though... it's not a very attractive looking pretender.
