How to selfdestruct mines?

I can't find out how you can selfdestruct mines.
The corresponding button is not highlighted and can't be selected if you have selected a mine group.

Not a good idea, if these obsolete mines are in my core system

But my question was serious: how can you make mines destruct themselves?

My answer was serious as well. I think the auto self-destruct on them is broken.

Unless it was a feature added in v1.33, which I didn't notice you still can't.

Far less so than slaughtering millions of women and children on small civilian colonies at every chance you get. The mines at least offer them some protection.

Well, at last resort move a space yard ship to the mine field sector and then you can scrap them.
