Haste
Howdy
Haste increases your movement in battle but I do not see any stat changes on my troops after the spell is cast. Is it bugged or what am I missing? Thanks.

Re: Haste
Each movement point moves you twice as far, as I recall. Still not a very useful spell though.

Re: Haste
Rain reduces the heat aura by 3, and it's not represented in the units stats.

Re: Haste
No idea! I would try to pay attention to the units that have the haste on them, and similar units that do not.
I was just trying to give an example where the change is not represented in the stats of the unit.

Re: Haste
It's the same with "Boots of Long Strides". No change in the unit stats, but you can move further each turn in battle.

Re: Haste
It reduces movement cost by half. An increase in action points would give units more actions as well (i.e. quickness). Thus the current solution.
It can be useful when you have somewhat vulnerable units that are strong on the offensive. F9D9 Jaguar warriors come to mind. Also fun to have when you mop up routing units.
