Do Dozer tanks clear mines???
Other than the obvious expedient of clearing them by blowing themselves up , are dozer tanks effective against minefields? I'm getting into the Winter War now in my LC, and everybody knows about the Finns and their mines Also, do they do anything against dragon teeth, or are they just effective against wire and trenches???

They do clear all obstacles AFAIK, mines included.

All engineer vehicles clear mines and obstacles.
Mine clear tanks do mines faster, and obstacles less so.
Engineer tanks do obstacles better, and mines less so.
All engineer units will clear from an adjacent hex if they are facing towards the target hex, they have no need to enter the mines and take the risk of being destroyed. Only plain infantry need to enter the mine or barbed wire hex to do clearance. Only proper engineer assets remove dragons teeth.
Cheers

Andy,
Could you please define "proper engineer assets?" Is this something such as weapon choice i.e. having engineers with satchel charges, or an attribute given to certain units?
Thanks,
Ketch

Re: Do Dozer tanks clear mines???
Also I believe engineer assets have better chance on surviving the entrance of minefield?

Speed kills do not drive mine clearing stuff into a mined area flat out. Dozers are handy in urban with an obvious route. Get a couple & flaten some buildings from a backstreet

Re: Do Dozer tanks clear mines???
Thanks. I just realized how to read that sentence of Andy's. Now I feel a little silly.
