Belgian OB problem
Just noticed that many of the tanks listed in the belgian encyclopedia aren't available through the purchase screens. Seems that no tank formations except col tanks are available after 1940 and before 1945.

Re: Belgian OB problem
You just noticed ?? It's been like that for years. What tanks were Belgium operating after 1940 and before 1945 ? There used to be "GB" formations in the OOB in Dos V7 but were taken out. What you're seeing is probably those that were left in just in case a sceanrio used them. I suppose I could renationalize them so they don't show up in the encyclopedia or just pull them out and fix any sceanrio that is flagged

The only Belgians in between were some infantry, and an armoured car squadron, and all were attached to the Canadian army (for the language interoperability). So really only of use as an ally to a CDN main force till end of WW2.

AFAIK a small army was raised in Belgian Congo and served in Ethiopia with British Forces in 1940-41. Did they serve with Canadian forces there?
Btw, I wasn't aware that Canadians understood Flemish...

Re: Belgian OB problem
I was suprised to see such a wide range of armor in the belgian encyclopedia, but I assumed these may have been part of the (platoon or company size) support elements of the belgian infantry brigade(s?).
I thought there had to be a reason they were there (as in the belgian had a few of them) but I didn't know they were 'left overs' from previous DOS versions. Mea culpa.

Re: Belgian OB problem
When we removed the GB formations I didn't consider the fact that the units built to fill those formations would still show up in the encyclopaedia. We left them in "just in case" they were used in a scenario someplace but we now can check things like that fairly easily. I've already renationalized them and have added a note to my files to look at removing the unused ones and changing the dates on the ones that are used to match the formations
