Default Cold Blooded...

Is Death Considered cold blooded, Or are they just NO blooded?

Such as Jade Mask, must be worn by Cold blooded units.

Could POD or Master Lich ect wear it?

Only things with the cold blooded tag are cold blooded. Things that are cold blooded include reptiles (c'tis) and I believe lamias. Undead units are not cold blooded unless it says so in their profile.

There are other coldblooded units too, one example is the damn excellent Grotesque which you can get with cross-breeding (and with the Improved version you seem to get one about 50% of the time; nice for just 12 bloodslaves). Sucks though if you happen to be a nation with cold-scales...

Here is a GORed Grotesque from one of an on-going game:

He loses his fire-breath when equipping a weapon, which is rather weird.

@Benjamin: I know Grotesques aren't mages, but neither are lamias either (which were already mentioned before the Grotesque).

The Grotesque is quite nice thug vs non-cold using thingies (what with total immunity to fire, shock and poison), and a couple with Armour of Displacement, ring of regen, amulet of luck and anti-magic amulet will be absolutely fabulous even agaisnt waves of sacred small units (unless they are fire-immune too, as the fire breath won't be killing them in droves then). Not a game winning thug for sure, but it can suprise the opponent real good in niche situations (and costs just 15 blood slaves to summon, although you dont get one every time).

wonder if someone could change the fire breath to make it a bonus.

I think you overstate the prevalence of the grotesques in cross breeding, but having gor'd him, he's not a magician or anything, so not much for wearing the jade mask.

And it's something I love about dominions that even someone with as much experience under his belt as llama can still have a whole region of the game that he's never explored.

Crossbreeding can also give you cockatrices and basilisks, ettins, chimera, and a few other neat things.

There might be also some pretenders (do something I don't want to know if I know which) that are cold blooded. Since the jade mask is an artifact that's relatively hard to use it could be a good booster for them.

Yeah, for example I'm pretty sure the divine serpent and the saurolich are cold blooded. Such pretenders are pretty rare though.
