G'day, I'm new to AATF
G'day, having demo'd the free March to Baghad I took the plunge and picked up BCG and AATF last week. A lot of fun and quite addictive once you get used to it.
Anyway while I am waiting for the manual to arrive from the US I have a quick question:
In JRTC 02 what are those yellow opaque capsule shaped things that appear over dismounts in LZ's?
By the way I live near a military base and there is no sight so awesome as a flight of blackhawks thundering off on an exercise.

The yellow oval-shaped lines are your dismounts breaching obstacle belts, probably either mines or wire. The yellow marks a path that your other units can move through.

Re: G'day, I'm new to AATF
Ok thanks. Sort of figured that but they are opaque and obscure all your units. Makes it tricky when you have LZ congestion to clear.
I have since picked up ATF and reinstalled AATF over the top of that and then the AATF upgrade.
After an hour and a bit into JRCT02 and also Basrah, the thing crashes. So start again and do incremental saves. Reload the save, start the clock and it crashes when zooming in to manage some action. RTFM available and tried all sorts of bare bones configs on different PC's within my LAN. No joy.

Re: G'day, I'm new to AATF
Thanks Patrick.
Yes, that's the patch I installed.
The exe file has made a difference. No crashes since but very slow - screen updates approx every 10 secs on x1 speed.
Monitoring my system internals tells me JRCT2 runs at over 600meg of memory and the CPU red lines.
With the ATF interface the mouse scroll works but not in AATF.
I think I need to get a beefed up stand alone gaming system.
