Do they gain experience?

Hi all!

I like to play against the AI - with this mods it is meanwhile a big fun to do so!

My question is:

Do enemy ships gain experience? I never saw on conquered planets, facilities like "ship training or fleet training". Is there a posibility to see, wich class of experience enemy ships have?

Any answer would be very kind!

Go to the file menu, turn off AI control, end turn, look at his ships.

If the AI dosen't have training facilities in its build orders, then the only experience will be from ship kills.

I have seen the AI build a training facility, what I do not know is if it was in the Mod I was running at the time (Zippy Mod)

It is questionable that the AI makes a good use of the training facilities which are just working in the same sector (except the psychic ones, they are training system wide; Rollo [if you read this], thanks for the hint !).

No training facilities!
