				 odd sound effect
Been meaning to ask this for some time: During a battle there is a sound effect that comes up periodically (its not a battle sound)that sounds like a drum that goes "dadadada..dada." I've always wondered why its there and can it be disabled without ruining battle sounds? Thanks |

".........that comes up periodically " .......WHEN WHAT EXACTLY IS GOING ON ???
Heres a suggestion........ go to the Game Data / Sounds folder and click on every sound there and let me know which one sounds like your "dadadada..dada."

I'm guessing it's an autocannon / AA gun sound FX

It occurs during any basic battle involving only tanks and infantry- usually at the end of a turn- not complaining- just curious as to what its supposed to be |

Maybe the ambient sounds? Check your preferences, do you 'Battle FX' turned on? |

I just noticed the sound effect also happens when I use only an infantry squad to fire- I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds it curious |

I don't know what you mean by default- I downloaded the game, patched it the way its supposed to be, and just choose the units for a battle from whats available |

				 Re: odd sound effect
So, you have "vanilla" version of game (no any modified OOBs)? Hmm there's no other change to find that sound than try to listen all sound files with some sound program (Windows Media Player for example)... |
