Does anyone know how the lucky trait works?

Ok then, so we have this lucky trait that halves the chances for bad events happening to the poor unfortunate sucker that gets caught in the path of meteor or super nova.

The big questions is: does the lucky trait halve the chance for mods with good events or does it double your luck with extra goodness? Inquiring minds want to know?

It just affects the chance of events, and assumes most events are bad, I believe. Also, there is a constant chance for events per game. They are then sent towards players who are less lucky more often than to lucky ones.

From what i know, the Lucky trait first halves the chances of an event to actually be triggered, and if triggered it halves the chances that it will in fact happen (like supernova - you only have 1/2 chance of the event, and if it happens by the time the time runs out, there is 1/2 chance that the sun will NOT explode)

The lucky trait half the chance of any event occurring against you.
good or bad. there are no good events eccept in the eyecandy mod. (shameless plug). I took real care in setting the mod up so that if you use the lucky trait you do not really lose anything and if you don't then you don't gain to the point of making the lucky trait useless.
