Default How do you transfer supplies from one ship to another?

See subject. Even after creating a fleet one ship has no supplies and slows the entire fleet down.
There must be a way to transfer supplies, cause they're supplies and they're expendable by any ship, so what's the method? (otherwise it seems silly)

thanks,

unless your fleet is extremely low itself in supplies, that no supplies ship should have supplies NEXT turn. there may be a way around this, but I don't know it.

Supplies are shared by ships in a fleet at the end of the turn. So, you won't notice a change until the next turn.

Even Ferrari needs some time to fuel Shummi' car.
Be patient, next month it will be ok!

Yep, no way around the 1 turn delay for refueling. At least it's not got all engines destroyed. Then you'd have to get a repair ship to it before it could move.

One of these days maybe we'll convince MM to let ships with 'tractor beams' move other ships? Would be nice. You could then have 'space tugs' to recover damaged and out-of-supply ships.

I would love to see the capability to transfer supplies from ship to ship like you can with cargo. You could transfer most of your fleet's supplies to one ship or a task force for a long range mission while the rest waited or returned to base, or you could bring out a supply ship, resupply the fleet, and return it to base nearly empty.
